Subject: Art Maps Research Project
Dear all,
I am working on Art Maps, a collaborative research project involving Horizon Digital Economy at the University of Nottingham, Tate (Tate Learning, Tate Online and Tate Research), and the Centre for Intermedia at the University of Exeter.
Art Maps explores the relation between artworks and place, through the development of a crowdsourcing platform with web and mobile interfaces. More information can be found on our blog: http://www.tate.org.uk/about/projects/art-maps, and the origins of the project in this blog post by John Stack, Head of Digital Transformation at Tate: http://www.tate.org.uk/context-comment/blogs/art-maps-mapping-art-collection
The Art Maps platform has not been publicly released yet, as it is still under development. To test the platform, we are now going to carry out an online study which will help us gain insights into the use of it by the digital audience. Therefore, we are looking for participants and I would be grateful if you could circulate the information sheet in attachment. The deadline for registering is on September 18th by emailing me.
Thanks
Best wishes
Laura
