Kit training sessions for Rapid Response Network (RRN) members or prospective members.
The Rapid Response Network gives its members access to five disaster kits across Yorkshire. As part of the membership fee, kit familiarization and training in use of parts of the kit is included. Training is open to all staff from member organisations and we are happy to hear from new members. The training should be treated as a rehearsal for a disaster; it would therefore be useful for staff in charge of collecting the kit in a disaster situation as well as for those with disaster management responsibility. The training sessions are as follows:
30th September North Yorkshire Archives office 10 - 1pm
Kit familiarisation and generator training
15th October Treasures House Beverly 10 - 1pm
Kit familiarisation
16th October Yorkshire Sculpture Park 10 - 1pm
Kit familiarisation and generator training
The session has a maximum occupancy of 15 people at YSP and 10 in Beverly, so please book early to be sure of a place. We will not run the session with fewer than six people as this is a networking opportunity as well as a training session. There will be other training sessions for the kits at other sites during the year.
