Statistical Science Director

inVentiv Health Clinical are currently recruiting for Statistical Science Directors for a global Pharmaceutical client. Offered through permanent contracts of employment directly with our client, this opportunity offers significant levels of responsibility within global drug development for a world leading drug company.
Working as Statistical Science Director, you will use your Statistical expertise to provide strategic statistical support across multiple drug development divisions, including the Statistics & Programming, Patient Safety and Product Teams. You will also be externally focused, working to provide a positive image of the company through publications, the attendance of meetings and conferences and working with Health Authorities. With multiple opportunities, there is scope to explore avenues within global product development or being a statistical expert.
These opportunities would suit a Statistical professional, who having gained experience providing statistical input on an operational level within drug development, is now looking for a strategic level position on a global level.
To be eligible for consideration, candidates will have extensive proven experience as a Statistician within a Pharmaceutical, CRO or related health care environment. You must be educated to a minimum of MSc in Statistics or Medical Statistics.
Experience within most of the following areas is also preferred:
• Experience of study design and data analysis in using a variety of designs and complex statistical techniques, with different types of data and issues, from different phases of development
• Experience of effective use of modeling and simulation to improve clinical program design and decision making
• Experience of major regulatory interactions and/or regulatory submissions
• Extensive experience in area of expertise in the context of drug development
• Extensive experience of clinical program and study design and data analysis in using a variety of designs and complex statistical techniques, with different types of data and issues, from different phases of development
