London Business School Library has a vacancy for the following role:
E-Resources Manager (part-time 24.5 hours per week, shift pattern negotiable)
Department: Library, IT–Operations
Career Group C, Level 4
Salary: circa £35,000-40,000 pro-rata per annum

*** The Position ****
The post-holder will manage, promote and develop the Library’s portfolio of e-resources and administer associated e-Library systems for the School’s various user communities, ensuring value for money and research relevance at all times with active management of supplier partnerships. The post-holder will offer tailored enquiry support and training as appropriate and contribute to the staffing of the Library Helpdesk.

IT (Information Technology) is responsible for the School’s IT and Library Services.
The department’s vision is to be an exemplar of excellence in technology. We aim to provide a world class information and technology support service to our community. We believe in business excellence, and will continuously improve services, expand content and extend access to corporate, remote and mobile clients.
The Library is recognized as one of the best dedicated business libraries in Europe. Whilst still offering a large business and management book collection of 25,000 titles and a dedicated financial dataset lab on site, the Library is now implementing a move to e-only strategy. A major digitization project of its significant corporate annual reports collection is nearing completion offering enhanced researcher access as part of a growing and well used e-Library of 22,000 e-journals, 5,000 ebooks and 69 datasets with associated state of the art search systems. The Library has an annual information resources budget of just under £1 million which places it in the upper quartile of North American and European business school libraries in terms of resource expenditure.

The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and will hold a relevant Library, information or electronic publishing postgraduate qualification.
Successful applicants will have experience of Library e-resource procurement or contract administration along with supplier liaison and negotiation and usage data collection / analysis. An understanding of academic e-libraries and associated support needs would be advantageous.
