Dear ZooArchers!
Please find below the report for my last ID help request related to Mystery
Long Bones.
It appeared that, in all probability:
Bone 1 =>> Right Radius Ulna of a bovid
Bone 2 =>> Ulna of a very young cattle
Bone3 =>> Fore cannon bone/Metacarpal of a pretty good-sized horse, with the
splint bones missing,
and the distal end been cut off cleanly with some kind of cleaver or other
sharp implement
Bone 4 =>> Fore cannon bone/Metatarsal of a bovid with both distal trochleae
broken off, with the appearance of
part of the rough surface of epiphyseal attachment (typical of 'subadult'
specimens).
