Transport and Competitiveness Workshop
Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds
10th September 2013, 10.15am - 4.00pm
This free one-day workshop will provide a state of the art update of research into transport, cities and economic growth. The morning session will focus on a discussion on what cities can do to use transport to bolster economic growth. The afternoon session will address issues surrounding the need for joint decision-making structures in shared travel to work areas through an exploration of demand management measures. The workshop is funded by the EPSRC funded project 'Competitive Cities: The network and long-term impacts of fiscal management of transport demand.'
