Hello
A job opportunity at the British Geological Survey for a records manager has recently been advertised that might be of interest.
BGS is currently in the process of finalising plans for a move to a new facility in Edinburgh in conjunction with the Heriot Watt University. The union will form a new centre focused on promoting innovative research involving geoscience, life science, computing, mathematics and engineering. As part of the move, BGS is undertaking an extensive review, digitisation and relocation exercise on its records and materials collections and is looking for a professional and motivated records manager to play an integral role in this.
This post is based in our Edinburgh office and will be a fixed-term appointment initially for a period of 2 years. Depending on qualifications and experience, starting salary for the role will be £26,450 per annum to £29,710 per annum (pay award pending.)
Further details of the post, including how to apply, are available on the BGS website under Vacancies. (http://www.bgs.ac.uk/news/vacancies.html) Please note that the closing date for this post is August 16th.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or need any further details.
Many thanks
