Our Digital team is working on plans for an ambitious new web presence for the Royal Academy of Arts.
We need a Digital Project Manager to help ensure that we deliver the first phase of our new website on time, on brief and on budget.
The role offers the opportunity to be involved in a genuinely transformational project, working with one of the world's leading design consultancies. The position is being advertised as a six month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Candidates will need to have extensive prior experience of managing large scale website development and complex IT integration projects.

The Royal Academy, working with one of the world’s leading design consultancies, has embarked on an ambitious digital project that will dramatically transform how the RA engages with its audiences online. An exciting and rare opportunity for an exceptional individual has arisen to join the Communications team as Digital Project Manager.
The successful candidate will have extensive, prior experience of managing large scale website development and complex IT integration projects. They will possess the skills to ensure that the planned redevelopment of the RA’s main web presence is delivered on time, on brief and on budget.
With a genuine passion for digital and a commitment to user centred design, they will relish the opportunity to oversee the delivery of innovative new products and services for the RA’s users.
The successful candidate will have impeccable project management skills and demonstrable experience of agile and sprint-based digital development.
They will have strong technical skills with up to date knowledge, understanding and expertise across a range of digital technologies - web, mobile and responsive design, CMS and CRM.
Well presented, articulate and confident with a creative flair, they will possess first rate organisational and communications skills to build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and a range of external stakeholders (design consultancies, build partners, existing IT software suppliers etc.).
