The books are a bit old, but then, so is folklore... I knew the man and
he had absolutely zero patience for the loony tunes.
There's also a guy (sorry his name escapes me it's been a long week) who
has recently written about Landscape Folklore in Cornwall - someone else
on the List will remember.
Or try the County Folklore Series from the 60s, before most of the
weirdness started

Subject: Megalithic legends
Hi guys,
a colleague in France has asked me for help regarding the myths and
legends= surrounding megalithic monuments in Britain and Ireland. Not
really my fie= ld, and when I tried Googling I just get page after page
of loony tunes.
Can anybody out there help? Any folklore surrounding particular
megalithic = sites, ideally with some decent scholarly (or at least
sober) references wo= uld be marvellous.
It's nearly the weekend!
Best
Peter
