Hi All
I was a regular attendee of the AoDL salon and workshops when they were funded by ACE (before the reincarnation as meetups) and found them to be really interesting sessions bringing organisations and business together. It was a shame that the funding ended as the need for these mixed networking and idea generating spaces continues.
Thanks
Nick Stevens

Subject: Art of Digital
Hello
..on this lovely sunny Sunday.
I've only just come across this peer learning network for professionals involved in digital strategy in the cultural sector.
Apparently it was instigated by ACE in 2009.
Two lead partners are Shakespeare's Globe and the Photographer's Gallery.
I'm intrigued about why I've never heard of it (although I have seen a range of events/networks about digital & the arts coming out of ACE in that time, and it might be I just forgot the name of this one.)
I wondered, have people on the MCG list heard of it, used it, taken part?
And then I wondered, now that museums are included in ACE, have support networks like this changed to embrace museums? How can the arts and museum sectors collaborate much more around professional development in digital topics?
Here's more about the network, including The Knowledge (a book you can read online) and events on different themes:
