Hello all. We're conducting a rather unusual type of fMRI experiment
where event onsets are controlled by the subject and we are wondering
whether it is possible to somehow get a measure of activity from an ROI
at each given scan of a session (obviously this would be done
individually for each subject and for each of their sessions). For
example, for a given subject, if a session lasts 6 minutes and we're
interested in HPC activity, could we somehow get a mean activity level
of the HPC during each scan of that session? (So for 6 minutes that
would be 180 scans if the TR was 2s, so we would have an array of 180
values indicating the relative activity in the HPC during the course of
the session).
We're in a very exploratory phase of our analyses and we're interested
in seeing if we can spot some relations between different events or
groups of events and HPC activity for our subjects. Has anyone ever
heard of such an analysis or know of any toolbox that might be used to
examine the data in this way?
Cheers,
Jason
