UWE announces Masters Programme in Curating
UWE’s Department of Creative Industries are pleased to announce Bristol’s first Masters programme in Curating. Beginning in January 2014 this one year full time course is delivered in partnership with a range of cultural institutions in Bristol. Building on Bristol’s international reputation as a hub of creativity and cultural engagement this postgraduate programme considers curating as a practice which encompasses fine art, digital media, film, social history and festivals. The MA will offer students professional mentoring from staff in our partner institutions: Spike Island, Watershed, Encounters Film Festival, Arnolfini and Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives.
