Treasures of Cumbria Project
Mobile and online features implementation
Invitation to tender
Treasures of Cumbria is an exciting new project which looks to stimulate the people of Cumbria into becoming interested in and actively engaged with both its museum collections, and its wider heritage and history.
Delivered across a mix of platforms - online, mobile, print, radio and more - Treasures of Cumbria creates a level-playing field for museums, community groups and individuals to create, edit, vote and comment on the 'Treasures' of the county.
The main website is now under construction and we are moving to the next stage: to find an agency to create the set of online features and mobile apps that will complement it. This part of the project is expected to be run over the current and following financial year (and some work may be spread across the two).
An exciting mix of creative, technical and editorial challenges, placed as part of a high profile digital engagement project, this is a great project for any agency wishing to make a mark on the Heritage sector!
