Hi,
As you probably know, Turnitin's User Agreement requires underage students to seek parental authorization to submit work for plagiarism detection:
Use of the Site and Services is limited to
Authorized Users (as defined below) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older
and/or have legal capacity to form a binding contract or, as set forth below,
Authorized Users who are between 14 and 17 years of age with consent of a
parent or guardian.
(...)
If You are between fourteen (14) and
seventeen (17) years of age or have not reached the age of majority in Your
jurisdiction of residence (together, "Not of Majority Age"), You may
not use the Site except with the supervision and permission of a parent or
legal guardian. If You are Not of Majority Age, You must have a parent or legal
guardian review and agree to this User Agreement by clicking the "I agree
-- Create Profile" button below.
From Turnitin's User Agreement
We intend to send a letter to students' guardians/parents asking them to sign an agreement form and I was wondering if someone has one that they don't mind sharing.
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
