Just found a blog post about Hamilton-Emery’s comments on Cambridge poetry. It’s a few years old but the discussion after it’s interesting. He seems to have it in for the Cambridge lot. Are some of the things he criticises them for the same sort of things he might criticise avantgarde poetry in general for--assuming of course he doesn’t really like such poetry--I wonder?
