Hello,
Just wanted to let you know about a project Battersea Arts Centre are doing
with artist Rosana Cade. It's called Walking:Holding and invites participants
to take a walk around Battersea, holding hands with strangers.
It is a unique and, at times, challenging experience investigating
preconceptions and spontaneous personal connections. The project began when
Rosana found that, as a gay woman, she was sometimes uncomfortable holding
hands with her partner in public.
Alongside with the performances Rosana will be hosting two workshops: 19th
June, 1-4pm & 20 June, 6.30 - 9.30.
This workshop explores in a group setting the themes of Walking:Holding. It
requires no special ability, just a willingness to join the dialogue. While
it is a stand-alone workshop, interested participants may be invited to be a
part of the show itself from June 27-29.

Ring is a sound journey in complete darkness and an antidote to choice. At

Due to popular demand after a sell-out run in March, Ring is back at
Battersea Arts Centre before heading to Edinburgh this summer.
