I have attached the document (quality scanned copy)
We do not have the financial resources to outsource this piece of work, and are aware that it will take us a considerable amount of time to do in house, but we do have an excellent team who are all willing to take their turn at the scanner!
Our department has one master machines - scanner, photocopier, fax all in one, which is networked to our system, but the 'twain' connect required for Cohort will not function as each PC would need its own scanner, again, no resources in terms of space or finance for this.
It is a work in progress, and I am happy to share how this develops, if this would help anyone else,
Thanks,
Tracy

Hi Tracy,
I would be willing to receive a copy of the BS standard...not an easy feat if you have several files to scan!
Obviously due to the nature of the documents location, your businesses procedural compliance should not be breached because the information is not being released from the department.
The only help I can give is perhaps a desktop scanner and a system of working through as best as you can...Unless there may be additional resources provided to you to help.
Kind regards
Nicky

We are about to start scanning our records onto Cohort.
Our IT department have advised we follow BS 10008, (happy to attach the workbook they sent if anyone wants a look, only 70 pages long!) which feels a little over the top for departmental record use only, does anyone have a scanning SOP or process they would be willing to share?
Thanks,
Tracy
