The Computational Molecular Biology Group (head: Frank Noé) is an interdisciplinary research unit active in the modeling and simulation of molecular processes. We have a strong profile in developing novel simulation and analysis methods, and associated software. Our current strategic focus is on questions such as biomolecular association and assembly, as well as functional conformational changes. A closely collaborating unit, we put great emphasis on interaction with experts from related disciplines.
The present opening is in software development related to molecular dynamics simulation within the framework of a EU‐funded project. Fields of activity will include software development for distributed molecular dynamics and Markov model construction. The candidate will be involved in research activities in the area of molecular dynamics simulation, Markov modeling and method development. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in software development and molecular simulation, wishing to conduct original research in a dynamic and diverse team science environment.
