Hi Dave,
Have there been any kernel updates on the VM recently? If so was the
vmware-config-tools.pl script run on the VM to invoke the VMware updater
and ensure that the right kernel modules are incorporated? In CentOS it
is supposed to run on reboot, but apparently this can be unreliable; the
same might be true on SLES.
I've seen VM clocks race because of this kind of thing in the past.
