The New Scholars Network is pleased to launch our recently redesigned website, www.newscholarsnetwork.wordpress.com
BLOG: Standout features of the new site include a dynamic front page blog, updated with posts from members of the NSN and covering recent events in the refugee and forced migration community. If you are interested in submitting a short blog entry for the NSN webpage, please contact [log in to unmask] for guidelines and further discussion.
MEMBER-GENERATED TWITTER: In addition, you can also sign up to follow and contribute to the NSN Twitter feed (@NewScholarsNet)
E-JOURNAL: The NSN's publication, Refugee Review, is in the final stages of editing, and should be online as an open access e-journal in Autumn 2013. The e-journal will highlight the working papers, work reports, opinion pieces, interviews and discussion series of new scholars exploring the theme of social movements and forced migration. The publication section of the website, in the future, will act as a forum for discussion and a space for the sharing of innovative ideas between contributors and readers.
KNOW YOUR COMMUNITY: In addition to information about our Executive Committee, you'll soon find a growing "People" section of the webpage which will include a community directory of new scholars.
E-Blasts like these will be sent out periodically to inform the community about updates and alterations to the New Scholars Network and our website. We hope you'll join us in sharing and adding resources to maintain a dynamic network of young scholars and practitioners.
