Hi Jennifer and Saffron
What you are looking for is a clever implemented logic built in the survey software. Some companies call it "branching" some call it "logic". It works more or less like an "if" command e.g. if the participant chooses "A" Present him a set of questions, if the participant chooses "B" present him another set of questions. Most paid survey software have this option (qualtrics, smart-survey, survey-monkey). However, before you decide on a survey software always check the features before hand.

Subject: Re: Question about online survey design
Hi Jennifer,
Somebody else may know more, I've been looking at online surveys myself
lately.
I think what you are after may be called branching (check this). It's
available with the survey company I have registered with - Fluid Surveys.
I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to recommend them yet as I'm at the
beginning of the process.
Hope to help
Saffron
