Dear Colleagues,
I would like to bring to your attention a Short Course that I will be teaching on Ultrafast Pulse Shaping and Pulse Compression at CLEO 2013 in San Jose CA. The course will cover the basic expressions required to understand pulse shaping and will make use of simulation software to visualize different cases. It will then discuss how pulse shapers can provide accurate pulse characterization and compression. Finally, a numbers of applications of pulse shaping will be presented.
This is the corresponding OSA information:
SC352 Ultrafast Laser Shaping and Pulse Compression
