Mike,
³An idea inspired by the punk rockı fiction of Robert Dellar, Ted
Curtis...² Just curious: are Robert et al aware you're planning this
project?
Robert and I literally grew up in the same street. (Year below me at primary
school, but didn't get to know him until later via our respective 1980s
fanzine/gig activity and mutual 'zine friends.) Based on my knowledge of him
and the (mental-health) activist and academic threads to his own
writing/publishing/editorial activity of the past 2+ decades (e.g. see his
and Ted's contributor list for the Mad Pride collection, 2000), I'm not sure
how he'd would react to the news that and his mates are now the
inspirationı for an academic-curated collection... :)
All best,
Claire
