This is a repeat of item 031128, but the reply to that post didn't help.
I'm trying to run a PCA on resting state data for 1 participant
(eventually multiple participants, but 1 participant to start) on my
local host computer. When I do so, I get the following using Melodic in
FSL 4.1:
/bin/cp /tmp/feat_pGG6us.fsf design.fsf
mkdir .files;cp /usr/share/fsl/4.1/doc/fsl.css .files;ln -s /usr/share/fsl/4.1/doc/images .files/images
/usr/share/fsl/4.1/bin/fsl_sub -T 11 -l logs -N feat2_pre /usr/share/fsl/4.1/bin/feat /home/chris/resting/PCA+.ica/design.fsf -D /home/chris/resting/PCA+.ica -I 1 -prestats
/usr/share/fsl/4.1/bin/fsl_sub: 341: exec: qsub: not found
/usr/share/fsl/4.1/bin/fsl_sub -T 30 -l logs -N feat3_reg /usr/share/fsl/4.1/bin/feat /home/chris/resting/PCA+.ica/design.fsf -D /home/chris/resting/PCA+.ica -I 1 -reg
/usr/share/fsl/4.1/bin/fsl_sub: 341: exec: qsub: not found
I had not had the Sun Grid Engine installed before this. An hour later,
I had installed it, only to remove it because I found it was
complicating the matter rather than resolving the issue.
So, I am back without SGE, but still getting this message. The SGE_ROOT
environment variable is not set. I'm not sure that's the problem
anyways, as I just modified fsl_sub so that METHOD=NONE (rather than
METHOD=SGE) by default, regardless of whether SGE_ROOT is set, and the
error persists.
Any advice?
