Gloucestershire Archives has been offered some Civil Defence film strips published for the Home Office by HMSO, 1950-1953 (labelled as nos. 1-3, 6-12, 16-18 and 32 in the series). All in their original labelled small tins.
There are also 2 small reels in tins labelled 'Military Training Film Strip' on map reading topics, plus 5 unmarked tins probably from the same series
Is anyone interested in receiving them as a gift?
(Imperial War Museum has declined as neither its Film or Photos Archives preserve filmstrips, as generally their subject matter is covered either by films or higher quality photographic prints)
