This is the final invitation for the one day Conference about the Promotion and marketing of Library Services next Thursday, the 25th April.



The event is being held at one of the UK's newest universities, Bishop Grosseteste University, on the outskirts of Lincoln. and is organised by the Cilip Academic and Research Libraries Group (ARLG) East Midlands Region. You will have the opportunity over lunchtime to look around the significantly extended and refurbished Library, a £2.75m project, formerly opened by HRH, The Princess Royal on 15 February.



If you would work in the F.E., H.E. or Research Sector and would like to find out more, then please join us later this month.



The Speakers for the day are: Kay Grieves and Michelle Halpin (Sunderland), Ihar Ivanou (North Warwickshire and Hinckley College), Jo Taplin-Green and Richard Collings (London School of Economics) and Charlotte Heppell (University of Northampton). They will be covering both strategic and operational approaches to promoting Library Services from encouraging student feedback to introducing regular campaign for each month of the student experience. The workshop in the afternoon will enable you to think creatively about how to implement ideas that you have heard in the morning.



The Conference begins with Coffee and Registration at 10.00 a.m. and concludes at 3.45 p.m.

Members of Cilip ARLG East Midlands are invited to stay for a short AGM after 3.45 pm to find out more about the activities of this CILIP Specialist Interest Group in the East Midlands.
