Dear Colleagues,
Thanks to Pat, Arthur and others off-list for their support for SHERPA/FACT. Please do send us feedback about how this may be improved (and thanks for your feedback Stevan).
To answer a couple of points - yes - we are intending to produce an API and yes - we would like to add other funding agencies to this, given the resource.
Whatever our personal views on the policies that are in operation and the complexities that arise from their combination, this is the environment that researchers (and librarians, research support staff and others) are being asked to deal with. We hope that SHERPA/FACT will aid users in getting clarity and getting compliance and more reseach available, while policies develop and we work towards a simpler future.
Regards,
Bill
