Context :
PC2A is a CNRS laboratory, recognized at national and international levels for its research activities in energetics and environment : combustion chemistry, atmospheric chemistry and nuclear safety. It is part of the common research unit C3R of the IRSN (Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety), CNRS, and University Lille 1, and of the research pole CaPPA (Chemical and Physical Properties of the Atmosphere).
Missions :
• Technical and scientific support to the research projects in PC2A
• Involvement in the ongoing research projects
• Development of new projects
• Assistance and formation for other PC2A members
• Hardware and software management
Requirements :
• Engineering degree and/or PhD in Physics or Chemistry, with specialization in theoretical chemistry
• Knowledge in theoretical chemistry (ab initio and DFT methods), molecular dynamics, estimation of macroscopic properties (spectroscopic, kinetic and thermokinetic) with theoretical chemistry methods.
• Experience with softwares such as Gaussian, Molpro, Molcas, VASP, CPMD…
• Programming skills (FORTRAN, C, …)
• Computer management skills
• Written and oral english proficiency
