Dear colleagues
We have a cross-disciplinary research network hosted in the Law School,
with three funded PhD studentships on it. The topic is 'Construction of
Human Perfection' and the network involves 3 projects, across the
disciplines of Law, Psychology, Engineering, Dentistry, and English. The
opportunity is for someone to set themselves up as an interdisciplinary
early career scholar in the areas of health, identity and technology.
More information about the "Law/Engineering" PhD within the project is
available here
http://www.shef.ac.uk/law/prospective/researchdegrees/scholarships/interdisciplinary
and the deadline for applications is 22 March 2013<x-apple-data-detectors://7>
.
Please forward this to good students who are looking for a funded PhD
place (that is, ones that you aren't keeping in your own institutions of
course - unless you are being really altruistic and thinking about the
opportunities for the student!). Of course, although we've set out the
project here, there is lots of scope for the student to take it in
whatever interesting ways they want to take it.
Yours
Tammy
