Dear All
Metamorphic Studies Group are hosting an international conference at Portsmouth, UK from 2nd to 4th September 2013.
The conference is called "Building Strong Continents" and aims to bring together researchers from various areas with an interest and insight into the evolution of the continental crust, its growth, stabilisation, preservation and reworking.
The timing of the meeting is just after Goldschmidt in Florence, meaning that delegates making their way to Europe from further afield may wish to double their airfare benefits and come to both conferences. We also offer a pre-conference workshop for early career researchers on in-situ analytical techniques and two post-conference field trips to the Channel Islands and Brittany and to the Lewisian of NW Scotland.
Please see the attached 3rd circular for further details.
Registration is now open and costs have been kept very low for student participants.
Please visit our website for further details and we hope to see you at Portsmouth in September!
