Yes, the installer is trying to update your shell environment and profile etc., but is confused by it being zsh? We don't have experience with zsh and it isn't currently supported by the installer. Must do better on the error reporting front... sorry about that.
If you re-run the command but append the -p option then it will do the download then skip trying to setup your environment. You'll need to do that part yourself. Look at the website for manual config instructions.
