We are delighted to be able to tell you that what was previously announced for SNOWfall has unexpectedly turned into springSNOW. The first 76 page print-only issue of this decently presented occasional A5 review is in the last stages of production. It is expected to be available for distribution in April. All contributions are previously unpublished.
Contributions include prose and poetry by Rosa van Hensbergen, Peter Hughes (Petrarch), D S Marriott, Alistair Noon, Joseph Persad, Denise Riley, Peter Riley, Keith Sands (Mandelstam’s Octets), Nick Totton (his first poem since his 2004 collection), Juha Virtanen, Nigel Wheale, James Wilson.
Other contributions are an etching dated 1975 by Gisèle Celan-Lestrange and a 1983 letter by J H Prynne substantially about Paul Celan and translation; music scores by India Cooke, the late Leroy Jenkins, Dave Soldier; film, photography and other work by Sung Hee Jin, Alexis Nishihata, Alex von Riebech, Aya Toraiwa; and a drawing of Hélène Cixous reading at the 1979 Cambridge Poetry Festival.
