HI there,
* Of interest to any archivists out there interested in being part of the Archives Hub and using our EAD Editor *
We have a new 8 minute video introducing the Hub and the EAD Editor, and telling you what you need to do before you can use the Editor. It is intended to give people a sense of what the Editor is and what it looks like, and get them ready to create or upload descriptions that can be put onto the Archives Hub.
Remember, we welcome all archives, as our aim is to be the best service that we can for researchers interested in UK archives. Our focus is on collections that are valuable for academic researchers, but of course, this encompasses a very wide diversity of collections.
If you would like to try out the EAD Editor, to get an idea of how it works, then we have a guest login available.
Please be advised that the descriptions created with this login will be periodically deleted (usually at the end of the working day every friday).
Access the Editor, the video and details of the guest login from our EAD Editor page: : http://archiveshub.ac.uk/eadeditor/
