Newcastle University has a vacancy for a Professor of Statistics, based in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Start date is negotiable (and need not be before the UK REF census date of 31 October).
At Newcastle we have a strong tradition of research in statistics, with current interests broadly based in bioinformatics and biostatistics. The School of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking a high calibre scholar to strengthen the research base in statistical methodology and to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. You should have an outstanding record of research in statistical methodology and proven teaching ability. Further information can be found at
