Dear Nick,
a record of changes is available from the SVN log accessible from here:
http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/ftp/spm8_updates/README.txt
This update mostly contains minor bug fixes, as our development effort
is nowadays on SPM12.
Many thanks,
Guillaume.

Since many people will have processing in progress it would be helpful to know whether it is worth downloading the zip file, as the changes may not affect an otherwise stable pipeline. This might save load on your servers too.
