Job description:
A one year Post-Doc position is available at the Theory Group of SPrAM (Structures et Propriétés d'Architectures Moléculaires). We are based at the “Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives” (CEA) in Grenoble (France). The scientific activity of our group focuses on statistical mechanics and molecular dynamics computer simulations of complex materials for novel energy applications, including fuel cells and lithium batteries. We benefit of close interactions with experimentalists in a word-class environment, including large-scale facilities for science with photons and neutrons (European Synchrotron Facility, Laue-Langevin Institute), and have access to national high-performance computing infrastructures. The ideal candidate is expected to have a PhD degree in physics of soft matter and be an expert in molecular dynamics computer simulations. Research experience in the field of ionic liquids would be beneficial. The successful candidate should have the capability to work independently and be ready to interact with experimentalists. Applications will be received until the position is filled. The approximate salary level is about 25k€ net per year, depending on previous experience. Applicants should send their curriculum vitae, list of publications, two recommendation letters and a motivation letter to Stefano Mossa ([log in to unmask]).
