Dear FSL experts,
I am running FEAT on a number of images, some of which have a fair amount of distortion and signal dropout. I am therefore not getting great registration between my BOLD images and high res scans. To deal with this, I am running prestats with registration alone, using Nudge to fix the registrations as needed, using updatefeat reg, then running stats and poststats separately. I will of course copy my reg file over to the stats/poststats analysis. I would like to have ICA performed on the data as part of FEAT as well, but this is a prestats step, so it will be performed in the part of the analysis that has a less than optimal registration. My question is, when I do updatefeatreg to reflect the Nudge matrix, will that new registration be the one used for the ICA as well. In other words, is the ICA transformed to standard space at an individual subject level during prestats, or will it be transformed to standard space as part of the higher level analysis step using the matrices in the reg directory?
Thank you,
Meredith
