Transforming Assessment Webinars [via JISC email lists - apologies for any cross posting you may receive]
"e-Exams transforming curriculum" Wednesday, 13 March 2013
This webinar will introduce a system used in higher education and for pre-tertiary entrance examinations. The advantages include a BYOD (bring your own device) approach for equipment supply and provision of an identical full computer context for every candidate while leaving student owned equipment completely untouched after the exam has concluded. This makes it very cost effective. The open-source e-Exam System software provides easy innovation adoption. The presenter will discuss ways technology in assessment can provide opportunities for transforming content knowledge in curriculum, and varied approaches to 'fairness and equity' in high stakes testing.
Audience interaction is encouraged to make it a lively session.

Hosted by: Professor Geoffrey Crisp (RMIT University, Australia) and
