Hi all,
I'm a bit of a long time lurker on here but don't post often, so hello!
I just wanted to let you know that we (The Refinery - a science comms/production agency) have set up a new calendar of events that are going on. There is some overlap with other list websites, but I hadn't found anything which covered the range of science events going on comprehensively. Our aim for this is to cover everything from university lunchtime lectures to science sleepovers at the museums..
At the moment it is largely London events, purely because of our available manpower to get things started and maintain it (it is self-funded for now), but if we start getting enough traffic, the hope is to extend it to other areas/cities in the UK.
if you have any events coming up that sciencey types might be interested in, please do drop us a line to let us have the details and we will include it on the calendar.
the URL is www.sciencecontent.co.uk ** and to send us event listing, please email [log in to unmask]
(**just realised I do not know how to make links clickable on this platform, unless it happens automatically when I post?)
As this is a brand new fledgling project, I'd be really grateful for any feedback/thoughts/comments/suggestions on how we could improve it. I hope you like it/find it useful and apologies for non-Londoners but we will expand as soon as we can!
