Colleagues,
For those following this subject, I've posted a new essay, "Rendering Design
Thinking from the Pattern Language," at Academia.edu:
http://www.academia.edu/2508117/Rendering_Design_Thinking_from_the_Pattern_L
anguage
Full Disclosure Dept: I chaired the University of Oregon's Campus Planning
Committee during the middle 1970s when The Oregon Experiment had the whole
campus buzzing about planning and design. This essay explores the
theoretical affordance of The Pattern Language to design thinking forty
years later.
As always, I'll welcome any comments.
Jerry
