Much of what you have included is already in place, but thanks anyway. I am
currently working on a strategy that could facilitate students getting
placements. So it would have helped someone such as yourself.
The philosophy of LSBU is to widen participation. We have lots of facilites
to support students who come from the back ground you highlight in your
second point below. We have very good support for students with special
needs due to health or disability issues. We also have a nursery for those
with pre-school children. What we have at LSBU is much better than those
available in the Russell Group universities where my daughter and I studied.
