Q&A with Director Robin Hardy
8:00pm
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, we are delighted to invite you to a showing of one of the most iconic and widely recognised films ever made: The Wicker Man (1973). This terrifying British horror movie has one of the most shocking endings committed to celluloid, and is a cult classic.
We are also especially delighted to host a Q&A session with the film's director, Robin Hardy, as he talks about his prolific career in film and other arts, about The Wicker Man, and the long-awaited sequel The Wicker Tree (2012).
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to hear and talk to one of the great British directors, and to see a great British film back on the big screen.
The screening will include a brief introduction by Dr. Steven Peacock, Reader in Film and Television Aesthetics at the University of Hertfordshire, who will also chair the Q&A.
