Hi all,
I am playing with latest CREAM from EMI-2 release and I have found that
if I try to configure it in cluster mode (being the cluster service at a
different node), then YAIM fails, the 'config_cream_gip_glue2'
complaining that variables such as 'CE_OS_ARCH', 'CE_PHYSCPU', etc. are
not defined.
However, as far as I understand, in cluster mode there is no need to
define those variables anymore. Actually, the corresponding pieces of
information in glue1 are now published from the cluster node and are
defined with variables such as
'SUBCLUSTER_<...>_HOST_ArchitecturePlatformType',
'SUBCLUSTER_<...>_SUBCLUSTER_PhysicalCPUs', etc.
So I would say that 'config_cream_gip_glue2' should be updated to avoid
requesting 'CE_OS_ARCH'-like variables when cluster mode is used, while
a new function using the other variables should be added to the cluster
nodetype (if it doesn't exist yet).
Is this something known (I didn't find anything on google)? Am I missing
something? Otherwise, I will gladly open a ggus ticket for the problem.
For the time being, I think I can get going by just skipping glue2
configuration in my CREAM, but I understand this is not the way to go
since glue2 will have to be used at some point.
Cheers,
Antonio
