One thing I found was that if you did things like changes images, like you might if its too big when you put it in, both images exist in your folder. Its worth going through the list of included files to check for duplicates and unused ones as a clear out before you create a downloaded. Even if you don't have a file size problem its good housekeeping.

Subject: Things were going so well
Well, not so well but I thought I had seen the worst.
Our college was working with another and we were sharing their Xerte server. Then theirs died but fortunately I had exported my work on a large training module the day before, so I was able to finish developing it on the Sandpit - for which I'm very grateful to have had access.
Our college Network Manager has just finished installing our own server - so "hooray" you might think?
But I'm hitting problems importing the finished learning object which I exported from the sandpit.
I get an error telling me I can only import ZIP files
(https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1987387/error.jpg)
Well I am importing a ZIP file so that confused me. The size of the learning object is 67 Meg. Not sure how it grew that big. There is only one reasonable size movie in there and that is under 10 meg.
Anyway, I tried cutting it down in size (by removing pages) and created a small learning object in the sandpit and exporting that. Here is it on the sandpit ...

I imported it OK on our college server....

So question 1. Why is file size the apparent issue?
Question 2 is why on our server do I see a warning about colour changes that I don't see on the sandpit?

It's clearly because I'm using a style sheet but the warning is something I would rather our students didn't have to deal with each time.
If I'm allowed a bonus question, how can I tell when I log into our shiny new Xerte Server what version the network manager has installed?
Kind regards
Tony
