Hi,
The Software Sustainability Institute's annual Collaborations Workshop
(CW13) brings together researchers, software developers, managers,
funders and more to explore important ideas in software and research
and to plant the seed of interdisciplinary collaborations.
The workshop runs from 21-22 March 2013 in Oxford.
Last year's workshop (CW12) was very successful and attended by
researchers, developers, managers, funders and some independent
developers. There is an article on the workshop in the Ariadne
magazine http://www.ariadne.ac.uk/issue68/cw12-rpt
The CW12 scored highly receiving 4.3/5 for usefulness and 4.7/5 for
enjoyability (23 respondents from the 60 who attended).
For CW13 we have an excellent set of new Institute Fellows who were
selected after a testing 2-stage process
http://www.software.ac.uk/fellowship-programme/fellow-profiles. This
interesting set of leading researchers and researcher developers will be
attending the CW13.
Registration for the Software Sustainability Institute's
Collaborations Workshop 2013 is now open. Please go to
http://www.software.ac.uk/collaborations-workshop-2013-cw13 and follow
the registration link. Please register by Thursday 21 February at 6pm
(to aid event planning).
Thanks and Best Regards,
