PART-TIME RESEARCHERS
Governing Cities
LSE Cities is seeking two part-time Research Assistants to contribute to the centre’s Governing Cities Research Programme and in particular to its research project on “Urban Uncertainty: Governing Cities in Turbulent Times.” The appointments will be for a fixed-term period of three months with an immediate start (with potential to extend for a further fixed-term period). Candidates will have a strong background in critical urbanism and be currently working towards completion of a PhD in a research area that is relevant to the ‘Urban Uncertainty’ Project. Research experience in cities of Asia, the Middle East or Africa is essential as are excellent communications skills and experience in ethnographic and qualitative research methods. Candidates must also have any necessary visa or work permit required to work in the UK already in place for the duration of the appointment.
