Dear friends of Inclusion Europe,
Welcome to 2013! A new year is upon us and has brought in its scope a lot of expectations.
All year long the European Year of Citizens will provide an outstanding opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities to bring their right to be included in the society to the front of the stage and be recognised as full citizens of the European Union.
We also wish for this New Year to be the scene of many new initiatives allowing people with intellectual disabilities to take part in all areas of life. May 2013 see discrimination and exclusion step backwards and count for great advancement in human rights and social justice.
In 2013 Inclusion Europe will pursue its objectives with enthusiasm and hope. We sincerely look forward to a new year of work and count on your support!
Best wishes,
Information Team

Despite evidence of this increased risk people with disabilities are rarely included in the policy debate regarding HIV and absent from the agenda of mainstreaming HIV organisations and government agencies, and seem to lack information on the matter as well as access to prevention programmes, sexual health services and resources.
