Just to clarify there were ACE as well as sector submissions to the
curriculum consultation referenced below and you can download the CLA
response which GEM members contributed to from this page
http://www.culturallearningalliance.org.uk/champion-the-arts-and-culture-wi
thin-the-curriculum-review-respond-today.aspx.
DfE colleagues tell us the subject specific curriculum consultations will
start early next year.
Draft programmes of study for primary English, Maths and Science were
published in the summer, read more here:

As I mentioned in the email I just sent to the list - the CLA monthly
newsletter flags up consultations. If you sign up to the CLA (fast and
free!) you can opt in to get the newsletter, and we will be majoring on
the consultations when they are launched, including guidance on making
your responses.

Subject: FW: Primary curriculum planned consultation
Dear Colleagues
Wanting to be kept informed about when the planned consultation will take
place, I emailed the contact on the relevant Dfe page only to receive the
reply below.
I don't suppose I'm the only one fighting a loosing battle to keep abreast
in all areas of museum activity. GEM, MA and ACE please keep your eyes on
the ball for us and alert us when we need to make a considered response.

Thank you for your email about the National Curriculum review. All comments
received will be read and considered by the review team. However, due to
the volume of feedback we receive we are unable to reply on an individual
basis to each message that is sent to us.
We will continue to update our website with news on the progress of the
review and there will be further opportunities to input to the Review in
2012, including a full formal public consultation later in the year.
Thank you again for your message.
