Introductory Course in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Warsaw, Poland: 2nd-5th July 2013
This course is intended for persons new to epidemiological methods and focuses on four areas: Disease measurement; Epidemiological study design; Basic statistical analysis as applied to epidemiological research; Understanding epidemiological literature. Each session will involve a lecture but emphasis is placed on practical exercises and group work for solving problems. This course will involve hands-on statistical analysis sessions in a computer lab.
The course is run by faculty from The University of Aberdeen (UK) in collaboration with the Higher School of Universal Education and Health Promotion Foundation, Warsaw (Poland)
Cost: £700 (if booked by 30th April 2013) which includes all course materials, accommodation and most meals. There are a small number of partial bursaries available.
