Chris/All,
Our agreement was to host the VOs held on the NGS VOMS on the new GridPP VOMS. The next step was for NGS/NES to inform sites supporting any of those VOs to update their configuration.
Of the 20 or so VOs that were moved across, I think GridPP sites only support a couple like ngs and monitoring.ngs.ac.uk. None of the NGS VOs as far as I am aware have gone through the standard enablement process so they do not appear in the EGI operations portal nor GGUS. For the active ones (and those seeking wider support) it makes sense for us to assist getting them properly setup, but for the ones that are only going to be enabled at dedicated sites (where there is direct working with the users) we might find our efforts are wasted. I would prefer therefore that we get a clear direction from NES colleagues as to what is expected for each VO before we spend too long thinking on the topic and configuring more widely (such as WMSes). Certainly if the VOs want to be supported on several GridPP sites we can expect that they be registered to be useable by the standard tools.
At the ops meeting today we can discuss the list of VOs that GridPP sites support that we feel ought to be properly registered.
